It is Friday, and I am joining in with Lisa-Jo Baker's Five Minute Friday... Set the timer for five minutes, and write your thoughts about..... Ordinary
"So come one, come all, and come and lay down expectations and the critical voices in your head and write safe and welcome." Lisa-Jo Baker

"With no special or distinctive features; normal" - ordinary-
Why do we get caught up in this word? Why do we find our identity showing strong in this word? If we were to stop and think about how complex our physical systems are, a quick review of high school biology would help...we would see that every microscopic piece of this body we walk around in is anything but - ordinary.
We are amazing, complicated, mysterious creations. Why do we see anything other than wonder?
We compare, we note differences, we aren't happy with what we see in ourselves. Perhaps we are focusing on the wrong thing. The Creator of the Universe set foot on this ball of dirt to walk a path that only He could walk. And along that path, He saw us. He saw who we were, who we are, and who we are called to be.
And though we disappoint, He loves us.
He sees us as He created us.
He sees us as much more than ordinary.
